Making Waves of Health
The Wave Project
SUP4LIFE
We have made friends with some incredible people through the planning of The Wave Bristol. Each and every person involved in our plans is driven by passion to make a positive change to either the industry, business, health or society. True wave makers.
The Wave Project is an excellent example of a group of passionate people we will be working with, using surfing as a tool for positive change.
They use surfing as a form of therapy to improve the emotional health of young people. At a conference last year, Joe Taylor (founder) introduced us to Anthony who was a pretty inspirational guy who certainly reminded me about why we were pursuing this vision of bringing surfing to the city.
Together, we can make a difference to peoples lives.
Recently they have expanded operations across the whole country including inner city London and Bristol. Naturally, we will be working with them to deliver a service to The Wave Bristol so that we can have a real positive and new approach to helping emotionally vulnerable young people.
This summer they are also launching SUP4LIFE which will take place over 20 locations across the country from the Highlands to Lands End on the weekend of 18-19 July.
